When constructing your character keep in mind that the more detail you have, the more we'll be able to get to know them. Also, a certain amount is required.
Name: Your character's name. Your accounts display name should match it.
Age: Your characters age.
Race: Human, Elven, Half-elven, etc. Take a look at this thread...
Hair Color:
Eye Color:
Clothes: Describe what your character wears, and maybe some equipment.
Appearance: How do they stand? Confident? Calm? do they squint? Just a few details to help us "see" them.
Born near: Which country or city, or what-not were they born near. There will be a thread later that gives a few details about this.
Story. How did they grow up? Did they achieve anything special? Have a pet? Hold a certain view on the world? Found a giant production corporation? Train an army of spies which hide in cardboard boxes while saving the world? Maybe you were raised by a dwarf? We ALL know what THAT causes.... Write three paragraphs about your characters past. You owe your ideas that much time at least. (Basically, I want a brief illustration of who your character starts as.)
Class: Pick one of these Classes
Abilities: Ah... You made it to the fun part.
Here we go. Start with fifteen points, and assign them to these areas. This is just to give us an idea of what your character will be skilled in. The higher the number, the more skill.
Example:
Physical- 7
Magic- 2
Agility- 6
Physical is physical attack ability, or strength. It also determines how much vitality, or health you've got, and affects your defense abilities.
Magic is your characters natural talent towards magic. Mages will favor this particularly well, as it affects your magic power, and resistance.
Agility affects things like speed, evasion, and accuracy. If you want to move fast, you should have some of this.
IMPORTANT!: These stats are not to be used as basis for player vs. player fights. Those will be strictly roleplaying, with no stats involved, but with both players keeping in mind that one character may, in fact, be much stronger than the other player.
What are these stats for then, you ask? They are mostly for you, the RPer. They tell, at a glance, where your characters strengths and weaknesses lie. Their tendencies. Not their abilities.
Starting Arte Pack: Pick a Level I Arte Pack from the Arte Shop, and build a technique from the ability it gives you. List your Arte packs in your signature.
Starting Weapon: Pick one Weapon of Level I from the appropriate shops. The better the weapon, the better you'll be able to use your abilities. This includes Magical Artes. (because it's higher quality) List your weapon in your signature.
